Ask your child the following questions:
  1. Should we walk our new dog at least 2x/day? Create a fun dog-walking station together!
  2. Should our new dog always have fresh water in their bowl?
  3. Should we feed our new dog at least 2x/day?
  4. Should we play with our new pet every chance we have?
  5. Should we encourage our pet to have good dog manners? Good Dogs are Good Citizens If your you and your dog have good manners people will notice. Not only will you be welcome by more people and places, you will making a difference by representing your breed and canines in general. This is the only way our dogs will be treated like good citizens.
  6. Should we use only Positive Reinforcement when training our new pet?
  7. Should we love our pet for ever & ever?
If your Child answered YES to all of these questions, then they are well on their way to being responsible little pet owners!
