Darla & The Little Rascal's

Miss Darla was found with her Mate, tied to a cemetery pole by jumper cables, striving to keep her un born babies alive.  Darla was taken to a local shelter where only 1 week before she gave birth, the Dr. was on his way in to euthanize her.  Rescue thankfully stepped in and transferred her to a local Veterinarian's office.  At only 9 mos herself she was very young to be a mother when she gave birth to her 9 beautiful babies.  Sadly, 2 perished from cleft pallets, but the remaining 7 fought and are thriving today!

Thankfully help did come and we were able to rescue this sweet family.  When they arrived to their new foster home, Darla was infested with fleas and oh so skinny, using all stores to make food for her precious little ones.

Despite her rough beginnings all the puppies are doing great.  They are thriving and have become quite chubby!  Momma is doing wonderful as well!!  Wrong doings aside, she is super sweet and loves all her 2-legged and 4-legged friends.  She is kind and gentle with children and wants nothing more than love and home to call her own.
