Trindle Self Storage is hosting a big Grand Opening Community Day celebration at our brand new facility in Carlisle, PA on Saturday, June 15th from 11 am – 2 pm. The dual self storage/The UPS Store property was built in 2012 & opened in November of 2012. The owner is very community oriented & wanted to do something fun for everyone in the area to enjoy. We have chosen Project Share Food Pantry (projectshare.org) as our featured charity. We will ask that each person (not vendors) who attends bring a canned good to donate. We also will be giving the money collected from vendor tables, the Chinese Auction & any money raised from the Storage Warz storage unit auctions that we have that day to the charity. At the event we will have Free Food, Games, Giveaways, Chinese Auction, Family Friendly Activities such as a bounce house, local vendors, 4 Storage Unit Auctions and much more. The vendor fee is $30 per 10’ x 10’ space which will be donated to Project Share Food Pantry. (please see attached vendor form) You must supply your own table, chairs & canopies. Payment & release form due by May 31, 2013. No refunds. This is an outdoor event and will be held rain or shine. We also require that each participating vendor donate a prize valued at $10 or more to the Chinese Auction. Any sales you acquire that day are yours to keep, unless you wish to donate to Project Share. The American Cancer Society Bark For LifeTM is a non-competitive walk for dogs and their owners honoring the life-long contributions of our Canine Caregivers. Canine companions demonstrate unconditional love, joy, security, compassion, and no judgments of cancer survivors' abilities or appearances. The Bark For Life of Lancaster is an irresistible way to partner with your canine best friend to contribute to cancer cures through the mission of the American Cancer Society. Canine Caregivers and their owners are joining the American Cancer Society as Relay teams. They participate to celebrate cancer survivorship, to honor people lost to cancer, and to fundraise in support of the American Cancer Society mission in eliminating cancer through research, education, advocacy and service. Our canine friends have benefited from American Cancer Society funded research. Many of the cancer treatment drugs currently used have also been very successful in helping canines in their fight against cancer.
